A new report finds New Hampshire is the 13th best state for retirement.
The report released by Bankrate.com this morning includes an analysis of cost of living, taxes, healthcare, crime and climate.
According to the report, New Hampshire ranks second in the nation for healthcare quality.
The Granite State was also found to have a relatively low crime rate and tax burden.
South Dakota ranked at the top, but Northern New England as a whole did well in the study.
Maine ranked 12th best for retirement and Vermont ranked 14th.
