Police say they are in contact with a man wanted in connection with a shooting near a New Hampshire high school.
Manchester Police Lt. Brian O'Keefe says the shooting was reported Thursday morning and led to a temporary lockdown of Central High School. WMUR-TV reports the victim of the shooting was found several blocks away from the initially reported area.
The victim had a torso gunshot wound and is in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officials say they are in contact with the suspected shooter by phone, but they haven't located him.
Police say the shooting wasn't random and the public is not in danger.
