N.H. Lawmakers to Have Lengthy Session Days this Week

Allegra Boverman for NHPR

After a slow week at the State House, lawmakers will have long session days in both chambers with roughly 60 bills on the docket in the House and Senate.

The full House will vote this week on a bill to make it a crime to post sexually explicit photos of someone online without their consent. The measure is expected to pass. Currently 26 states already have a similar law on the books.

The Senate, is meanwhile, likely to back a bill repealing license requirement for carrying a concealed weapon. Gov. Maggie Hassan vetoed a similar plan last year.

Senate lawmakers will also vote on a House proposal to decriminalize half an ounce of marijuana. The Senate has never backed a marijuana decriminalization bill, and is expected to reject this one.
