Massachusetts Firm To Open Manchester Office, Bring 50 Jobs To Millyard

BAO Inc., a twenty-year old sales and marketing company that works with firms in the tech industry, announced plans this week to open a new office in the Manchester Millyard.

The company says it will eventually ramp up to 50 employees at its 6,600 square foot space inside the Jefferson Mill Building on North Commercial Street.

“The Millyard itself was just a cool space, and that area of Manchester...just impressed with the vibrancy of it,” said Michael Farrell, BAO’s chief operating officer.

The company is based in Andover, Massachusetts, with satellite offices in Norwood, Massachusetts, and Mesa, Arizona. Farrell said it chose Manchester, in part, because of the availability of talent in the growing tech hub.

Based on its new office location the company says it qualifies for up to $240,000 in tax credits.

Governor Chris Sununu made a trip to BAO’s Andover location in March to offer his support during the company’s expansion in New Hampshire.
