Manchester Police To Set Sobriety Checkpoints

Chris Jensen for NHPR

Police in Manchester are conducting a DWI checkpoint this coming weekend.

Manchester Police Department will conduct the sobriety checkpoint along with members of the New Hampshire State Police.

State law allows for sobriety checkpoints with approval from a judge.

The Manchester checkpoints have been authorized by Hillsborough County Superior Court.

Authorities say they will be carried out under guidelines from the state Attorney General's office.
