The Heroin Crisis Continues: Addressing Opioids Around N.H.

As the heroin crisis in New Hampshire continues, and the number of overdoses grows, communities around the state are addressing the issues with increasing urgency.

  GUESTS:

Eric Adams – Prevention Enforcement Treatment officer for the Laconia Police Department.· He has also worked as a corrections officer, patrol officer,  and undercover narcotics officer. 

Sandi Coyle  –Regional Coordinator for the Seacoast Public Health Network and Allies in Substance Abuse Prevention, member of the Governor’s Commission Recovery Task Force, and board member for HOPE for NH Recovery.  She is currently supporting grass roots efforts on the seacoast to develop one of NH’s first Community Recovery Centers.

John Eldredge –  co-founder ofBonfire Recovery Services, a facility for men in Dover that requires abstinence from drugs and alcohol for its residents and promotes 12-Step recovery principles and local recovery fellowships. 

Cheryl Wilkie – Senior Vice President of the FarnumCenter, a drug and alcohol treatment center in Manchester.
