Current Path of Weekend Storm Takes it South of Northern New England

The Northeast is bracing for its first major snowstorm of the season, but it doesn't look to be a major storm in Maine and New Hampshire.

Tom Hawley from the National Weather Service says the storm is expected to track south of northern New England. If that holds, then southern Maine and New Hampshire could see 3 to 6 inches of snow from Friday night through Saturday.

Hawley says things could change. He says it's too early in the week to know the exact track that the storm will take.
