Reporters from NHPR and the NPR Politics Podcast will conduct joint interviews with select presidential candidates in the lead-up to the 2020 presidential election. As part of NHPR’s comprehensive coverage of the first-in-the nation New Hampshire Primary, NHPR is teaming up with NPR and Iowa Public Radio for a series of conversations with the candidates – taking place on the ground in both New Hampshire and in Iowa.
The first interview in the series features NHPR Investigative & Data Reporter Casey McDermott, paired with NPR’s Scott Detrow. The team interviewed Senator Cory Booker in Manchester on Monday, May 13.
The interview features in the latest episode of the NPR Politics Podcast. Portions of the interview will also be broadcast during Weekend Edition on Saturdays on NHPR, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tune into Weekend Edition throughout the summer and fall to catch highlights from more joint interviews with the candidates.
