New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is set to campaign with Republican gubernatorial candidate Walt Havenstein for the fourth time.
Christie and Havenstein will visit a dairy bar in Berlin on Friday then host a meet-and-greet at a VFW hall in Lancaster. Christie, chairman of the Republican Governors Association, has campaigned with Havenstein three times since July. Christie says he's focused on electing Republican governors, but is widely considered to be exploring a 2016 presidential bid. His trips to New Hampshire have taken him to Nashua, Manchester, Bedford and now the North Country.
Havenstein faces Democratic Gov. Maggie Hassan. A recent UNH poll shows he is trailing Hassan by 10 points among likely voters, with a 4 percent margin of error.
