Carl Kasell's Legacy Touched N.H.

Apr 17, 2018

Carl Kasell was a fixture on NHPR airwaves for many years until his semi-retirement in 2009. In June, 2011 the former newscaster, who died Tuesday, came to New Hampshire to speak about his tenure at NPR. He spoke about the early days of Morning Edition, and the advent of Wait Wait Don't Tell Me in front of an audience of NHPR listeners.

He then sat down with NHPR's Laura Knoy, a former colleague of his at NPR, to discuss how the industry has changed over his long tenure.

Since we had so much fun with him at SNHU, Laura invited him to join her on The Exchange the following morning, which he did with his characteristic good humor.
