Some big-name supporters joined Congressional District 1 candidates Chris Pappas and Eddie Edwards on their final full day of campaigning.

Former New Hampshire Governor John Lynch joined Democrat Chris Pappas on campaign stops at diners.

Lynch, a Democrat who served four terms in Concord, said voters want politicians to work across the aisle – and Pappas will do that.

“He’ll be independent," Lynch said. "He’ll support issues based on what’s best for New Hampshire. He’ll work with everyone down there. And that’s what we need in Washington to break up the dysfunctional behavior that exists there today.”

And at Republican Eddie Edwards’ campaign headquarters in Manchester, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani said Edwards isn’t a typical politician, but he’s the right man for the job.

"He’s run once for an office he really wants and for an office where he can really help keep our country safe, keep taxes low, keep burdens off people. This is a man who wants to give us more freedom."
