The Dow Piano treats the big board's performance over 2010 as a musical score - better days mean higher pitches, while the notes are lower on down days I wouldn't expect Pitchfork to extol its hipster credentials, but it's still a pleasant enough tune - especially toward the end of the year, when the markets were a little more cheerful themselves.
