Inspired by host Sam Evans-Brown’s environmental reporting and his passion for the outdoors, New Hampshire Public Radio’s new program Outside/In launches its first season of five hour-long shows on Friday, April 22nd at 3 p.m. The show will air for five weeks and can also be heard on Saturdays at 2 p.m. at Sundays at 10 p.m.
“Outside/In examines our natural environment from a unique perspective, and gives our audience an opportunity to be involved, understand and explore. We saw this as a real opportunity to fill in a gap in the public radio program menu,” said NHPR President & CEO Betsy Gardella. “Sam’s award-winning environmental coverage makes him a natural fit for this series, along with the rest of our talented team who are creative, passionate and enthusiastic about New Hampshire and sharing its stories.”
In addition to radio content, the Outside/In production team is creating multi-platform content for the web and social media. The show launched as a series of short podcast episodes this fall, and earned a spot on the iTunes "New and Noteworthy" slate of recommended podcasts.
