Cotton Mountain Hike

Cotton Mountain Hike

When would be a better time to explore the outdoors than when the leaves are starting to change, and the weather is cooling off? Join Lakes Region Conservation Corps members Eva and Macie on a hike up Cotton Mountain. There is a summit with a view where the group will pause and eat snacks, take photos, and drink water. The hike is a 1.3 mile out-and-back trail that takes anywhere between 60 and 90 minutes. This is a moderate hike with some steep points, so please be prepared for that.

What to Bring: Participants should bring food and water and wear weather-appropriate clothing. Bring trekking poles if you’d like.

Audience: All ages are welcome, but this is a moderate hike meant for those who are capable of walking uphill at a steady pace.

Location: Meet at Cotton Mountain trailhead parking lot.

Registration: Space is limited to 10 people. Registration required. Click here to register: https://squamlakes.org/node/214
