How Would N.H. Farmers Change In A Changing Climate?

Among the questions food producers and farmers are looking at these days is how they might be affected by a changing climate – and what they might do about it.

These topics are on the agenda for this weekend’s Winter Conference of the Northeast Organic Farming Association of New Hampshire. One of the conference’s keynote speakers is Gary Paul Nabhan. He's W.K. Kellogg Endowed Chair for Food and Water Security at the University of Arizona Southwest Center and author of several books, including Growing Food In A Hotter, Drier Land.

He joins All Things Considered host Brady Carlson to talk about the possible effects of a changing climate on New Hampshire farmers and their operations.

Correction: this piece originally misidentified Nabhan's position and university affiliation. We have corrected the text.
