New Hampshire lawmakers have been looking at whether to make changes to the state’s voter identification law. Critics say provisions of the law, set to take effect this fall, would cost the state money and cause delays at the polls.

We thought this would be a good time to look at the broader issues around the ways we administer elections, and how they might be improved. David Becker is Director of Election Initiatives for the Pew Charitable Trusts, which has been looking into voting systems and what he describes as the many upsides of expanding online voter registration. He talks with All Things Considered host Brady Carlson.
