Checking In With President Biden’s COVID-19 Advisory Board

After he was elected, President Joe Biden quickly put together his COVID-19 advisory board, consisting of a mix of public health officials, doctors, and trusted government officials.  

Since November, the nature of this pandemic has changed. Where we once focused on stopping the spread, we’re now focused on vaccination.

Most recently, the Biden administration has announced its goal of partially vaccinating 70 percent of adults by July 4. Right now, that figure stands at 63 percent. 

We check in with two members of Biden’s COVID team to discuss what has changed since his election and what more needs to be done.
