As Fiesta Kicks Off, A New Exhibit Marks The Battle Of The Alamo

Tonight is the opening of the 125th Fiesta San Antonio at the Alamo in San Antonio, Texas. A new exhibit – not affiliated with the historic fort – uses graphics and music to depict the battle, which took place 180 years ago.

Last summer, Here & Now’s Jeremy Hobson visited the Alamo and spoke with the site’s historian and curator Bruce Winders. We revisit that conversation today.

This interview originally aired June 25, 2015.
