How Social Media Mourns

This week was a sad one for the entertainment industry, as we lost David Bowie, Alan Rickman and René Angélil to cancer.

In many ways, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram have become the 21st century funeral home guest book, allowing people around the globe to honor those we’ve lost.

Julia Turner, editor-in-chief of Slate, shares some of her favorite social media remembrances from the week with Here & Now’s Robin Young.
