New Math Program Focuses On One Kid At A Time

Many American students struggle in math. Compared to the rest of the world, the stats are pretty dismal. In fact, highschoolers in the U.S. rank 36th in the world in math.

A new math program based on the notion that not all kids learn the same way or at the same pace aims to better that ranking. Jenny Brundin from Here & Now contributor Colorado Public Radio visits one of two Denver middle schools piloting a program called Teach to One that makes math personal.
