Rare Tropical Cyclone Hits Yemen
A tropical cyclone made landfall on the southern coast of Yemen Tuesday. The storm could bring as much as 20 inches of rain in two days to a region that typically only gets four inches of rain in a year.
Yemen is one of the poorest countries in the Arab world and it’s in the midst of a civil war. Here & Now‘s Peter O’Dowd speaks with Reuters reporter Noah Browning, who is in Dubai.
