Mexican-Born Artist Is 'Erasing The Border'

At the Mexican border across from Nogales, Arizona tomorrow morning, artist Ana Teresa Fernandez is planning to use her paint brush to make a statement.

The Mexican-born artist who now lives in San Francisco is planning to paint a portion of the fence blue so that it blends in with the sky from a distance.

As Senior Field Correspondent Jude Joffe-Block of Here & Now contributor KJZZ in Phoenix reports, Fernandez hopes her work will inspire people to imagine what would happen if the fence came down.
