Serena Williams is trying to become the sixth person in tennis history to win the four grand slam tournaments in the same calendar year. She beat her sister Venus Williams in the quarterfinals of the U.S. Open earlier this week and plays again on Thursday.

The three other women still left have a combined one win and 17 losses against her in their careers. NPR sports correspondent Tom Goldman discusses whether any of them stand a chance, and where Williams stands among the greats.
