There were two major decisions today from the Supreme Court.
In one of the most highly anticipated rulings of the year, the justices upheld nationwide subsidies under the Affordable Care Act, ruling that the law can help people buy health insurance both through federal and state exchanges, a huge victory for the Obama administration.
In another victory for the president, and for civil rights groups, the high court also ruled today that federal housing laws prohibit practices that disproportionately hurt minorities, even if there is no proof of intentional discrimination.
