Rick Perry Regains Status As Possible 2016 Presidential Contender

Just a few years ago, Texas Governor Rick Perry made some missteps that caused him to quickly lose his credibility as a 2012 presidential candidate.

But his tough stance on unaccompanied immigrant minors and his criticism of the Obama administration has made him more popular with conservative voters.

As Ben Philpott of Here & Now contributing station KUT reports, Perry has reclaimed the national stage for his views on other issues.
