U.S. Geologists Highlight Volcano Dangers

The U.S. Geological Survey releases the findings of a study on the nation's volcanoes and the risks they pose to local communities. Citing concerns to nearby residents as well as air travellers, geologists are calling for a National Volcano Early Warning System.

The new study is the first fully comprehensive review of volcanoes located in the United States, which number more than 150.
