Avishay Artsy joined NHPR in January 2008. After graduating from Boston University with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Communications, he had stints at a number of radio and print outlets, including The Keene Sentinel, WPFW-Pacifica Radio in Washington, D.C., and Paris Live Radio in Paris, France. He was also a news correspondent for NHPR, a reporter and producer at NET Radio in Nebraska, the Omaha World-Herald’s online news editor, and an editorial contributor for The Reader, Omaha's alt-weekly paper. His freelance pieces have aired on Morning Edition, All Things Considered, Marketplace, Weekend America, and Only a Game, among other shows.
