Mark Bevis

News Director

Mark Bevis moved to New Hampshire from Washington DC in 2000 to take on the job of News Director, where he manages all of NHPR’s reporters and news activities. He spent a dozen years covering Washington as a reporter, then editor, for Pacifica Radio’s capital bureau. He also filled-in occasionally as an associate producer for NPR’s Weekend All Things Considered. Mark has also renovated old row houses in Baltimore, taught English as a second language, worked in an independent bookstore and driven a taxi. Mark received a degree in Philosophy from Johns Hopkins University and lived in Paris for a while.
