Collective Bargaining Highlights:
Bedford places it's three collective agreements on the warrant each year to approve the additional costs of the agreements for the coming fiscal year. The articles, agreements and recommended appropriations include the following:
Article II - Negotiated salary increase for the teaching staff (additional costs in FY 2010) - $988,023
Article IV - Negotiated salary increase for the custodial/maintenance staff (additional costs in FY 2010) - $61,964
Article VI - Negotiated salary increase for the secretaries, clerks, instructional teaching assistants and kitchen staff (additional costs in FY 2010) - $142,314
