Governor Lynch Promotes New Hampshire Retail Industry

Governor Lynch praises NH retailers for supporting the state economy.

Governor John Lynch took to the new outlet mall in Merrimack today to promote New Hampshire’s lack of a sales tax.

Governor Lynch’s visit comes as Massachusetts is about to have a two day reprieve from its 6.25 percent sales tax.

Lynch praised state retailers for doing a good job promoting New Hampshire’s lack of a sales tax and stressed that retail sales are critical to the state’s economy.
