Changes May Be Coming to Portsmouth's Port

Changes could be coming to the Port of Portsmouth.

The Executive Director of the Pease Development Authority is looking at how to make the port more attractive and more prosperous.

But he'll need some help from the legislature.

Lawmakers Face Number of Education Bills This Session

Senate Majority Calls Session To Oust Eaton

State Senate to convene Friday for what could turn out to be Senate President Tom Eaton's last day as the Senate's top officer. Fourteen of Eaton colleagues requested the meeting Wednesday. Their stated purpose: the election of new officers.

Senate Rejects Lynch Backed Ed Funding Plan

In a 13 to 11 vote, they passed a different plan that was put forward by Senator Ted Gatsas of Manchester.

Disgruntled Republicans Eye Alternative

Some Republicans disappointed with Governor Craig Benson have launched a write-in campaign for Republican state Senator Dick Green.

With no money and no staff, organizers however, have less than three weeks to attract fellow disgruntled Republicans.

Certain GOP circles welcome the opportunity to register a protest vote for governor.

But many in the party just dismiss the fledgling campaign as something that is going nowhere fast.

Senate Moves School Vouchers Forward

Budget Compromise Unveiled
