PACs Generous to Senate Primary Candidates

Political Action Committees or PACS collect money and distribute it political candidates on behalf of a variety of special interest groups. By the end of June, Senator Bob Smith and Representative John E. Sununu had received a combined $1.3 million dollars from PACs.

Smith, Sununu Clash in First Encounter

Smith is running for his third term; fellow republican john sununu has taken the unusual step of leaving Congress to try to defeat him.
