A Birdseye View of The Appalachian Trail

By John Walters on Monday, January 10, 2005.

Mark Warner has combined his love of nature photography and flying in his new book, The Appalachian Trail: An Aerial View. Over a period of 5 years, Mark captured the natural beauty of the Trail, as seen from the sky. Mark lives in Newcastle, Maine. His photographs have been widely published in outdoor, nature, and boating magazines. He's written two earlier books and he gives outdoor photography classes and workshops. He also restores antique planes. Most of the AT photos in his latest book were taken from two old Piper Cubs he rebuilt.
