Granny D

By Laura Knoy on Friday, October 22, 2004.

Democrat Doris Haddock, better known as "Granny D", is running for U.S. Senate against incumbent Republican Senator Judd Gregg. The 94 year old is perhaps best known for walking over 22,000 miles to get working women registered to vote. And while she's never held elected office, she's running her campaign on the idea that ordinary people can run for office and get elected. We'll talk with her about the issues, her campaign, and the last few weeks before the election.
