Letting It All Hang Out!

By John Walters on Friday, April 16, 2004.

The average American household could reduce its energy consumption by 6-10% with the omission of one beloved appliance: the dryer. Alex Lee is the founder of Project Laundry List, a non-profit organization trying to encourage everyone to dry their laundry using the big nuclear reactor in the sky. April 19 is National Hang Out Day and Alex joins John to talk about the benefits of the clothesline.

And Deborah Regan and Susan Wereska from The Southern New Hampshire Women's Writing Group to talk about their book A Group of One's Own. The NHWWG collaborated as a group to write a book about creating and maintaining a writing group.
