As soldiers are fighting in the Middle East, public health officials are concerned about a new enemy in this country.
That enemy is called Several Acute Respiratory Syndrome, or SARS.
Much of the attention on the illness has been in southeast Asia.
But dozens of cases of SARS have appeared in the U.S. and public health officials are taking action.
State epidemiologist Dr. Jesse Greenblatt has beefed up New Hampshire's efforts to fight the virus.
He described that effort to NHPR's Mark Bevis.
