The Demise of Dairy

The dairy industry has been struggling recently. National milk prices are now so low that farmers lose money on every single gallon they sell. It’s forced some farm owners to close down their businesses completely, some to go deep into debt and still others to diversify to stay afloat. We’ll see how the national problems of dairy are now affecting farms in New England and what may be done to pull the industry out.
