"The Lord of the Rings" is one of the best-selling fantasy series of all time and the movie version hits the big screen tomorrow. Michael Stanton is a professor at the University of Vermont and he has just written a book entitled, "Hobbits, Elves, and Wizards: Exploring the Wonders and Worlds of J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings." Stanton says that "The Lord of the Rings" is only a small part of the fictional world that was created by J.R.R. Tolkien. He discusses the trilogy and the man who wrote it.
