Small New Hampshire Banks Are Making Money Even While Big Banks Announce Losses

There has been a lot of bad news lately about banks.

Some of the biggest banks in the country have needed federal bailouts, and are reporting huge quarterly losses.

But the financial environment for small New Hampshire banks lately has been quite favorable.

And as NHPR’s David Darman reports, many of these banks are actually making a profit.
