It's Friday, the day we check in with members of the 36-43rd company of the New Hampshire National Guard.
In Washington, the debate rages over US policy in Iraq.
But in Baghdad, life for the troops of the 36-43rd goes on.
Today we hear from Sergeant Dan Bourgeois.
He grew up in Manchester, but now lives with his wife and three children in Guilford.
As a civilian, he works at Meadowbrook producing performers as they come through the area.
He tells NHPR's Mark Bevis, his National Guard job at the detention center in Baghdad couldn't be more different.
