A Letter from Iraq: Master Sgt Daniel Flint

By Mark Bevis on Thursday, May 3, 2007.

Much of the news about the war in Iraq has centered in Washington this week as Congress and the Bush Administration wrangle over the future of US involvement in the region.

But life went on as usual for the men and women of the 36-43rd Company of the New Hampshire National Guard.

For the past seven months the 36-43rd has been guarding a detention center at Camp Victory in Baghdad, and NHPR's Mark Bevis has been checking in with the soldiers.

Today he speaks with Master Sgt. Daniel Flint.
