Carol Shea-Porter scored a surprise victory last November, besting Republican Jeb Bradley in New Hampshire's First Congressional District race to become the first Democrat to win the seat in twenty-five years and the first woman elected to national office in New Hampshire history. She ran a grassroots campaign with a strong anti-war platform and continues her push against the Iraq war while in Congress. We'll look at the freshman Congresswoman's first few months in office, what issues she's been out front on and how her stance on the war has been received by colleagues on both sides of the aisle.
