How ready is our state for the possibility of civil unions? After a host of bills concerning the union of same sex couples that have ranged from marriage to contractual cohabitation to an amendment defining marriage between a man and a woman, it seems as if civil unions has come out on top. The bill has passed the House, Governor Lynch has said he'll sign it and it now awaits a full Senate vote.
