I saw this on the New Hampshire Public Radio Web Site

Oregon Senator Ron Wyden

By Laura Knoy on Thursday, April 20, 2006.

When a U.S. Senator from another state shows up in New Hampshire at this time of year, it usually indicates one thing: an interest in running for President. That, however, is not the case this week for Democratic Senator Ron Wyden. He's here to talk about what issues Democrats who do want to run for President will face as they begin to hit the campaign trail. The Democrats' message--or lack of it-- has been a hot subject for the party lately; as the GOP and President Bush stumble, now seems to be the time for Democrats to make some gains, but many observers see them doing little in the way of offering up strong alternatives. We'll talk to Senator Wyden about his ideas on how the Democrats can get on track and what they'll need to talk about as they begin to stump in places like New Hampshire.
