Writers On A New England Stage: P.J. O'Rourke

NHPR and The Music Hall present Writers on a New England Stage with P.J. O'Rourke recorded live at the Music Hall in Portsmouth. The journalist, satirist, bestselling author, and frequent Wait Wait Don't Tell Me panelist has written humorously about some of the worlds' scariest conflict zones and got us laughing about economics and political flim-flammery in Washington as a writer for Rolling Stone, The Atlantic and seventeen books of nonfiction. The latest focuses on his own generation, the boomers, the "Me" generation, the American kids born between 1946 and 1964 when the war was over and the age of Aquarius was dawning. He joined host Virginia Prescott onstage to talk about his latest book: The Baby Boom: How it Got that Way (And it Wasn't My Fault) (And I'll Never Do It Again).
