Official jobs and unemployment numbers aren’t the only way to trace the recession and the recovery

The state is set to release its latest jobs numbers on Wednesday, giving us a final look at the New Hampshire jobs picture in 2015.

A strong December jobs report would serve as an exclamation point at the end of a solid year for New Hampshire's economy.

The state saw its labor force grow over the past twelve months, and the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate fell to 3.2 percent as of November; that rate has come down two percent from the end of 2013.

The economic forecast from the New Hampshire Center for Public Policy Studies says a solid real estate market and continued low energy prices will help boost New Hampshire's job growth and wages this year.
