Sununu to Nominate Stratham Attorney to State's High Court

Sheehan, Phinney, Bass & Green

Gov. Chris Sununu will nominate attorney Anna Barbara Hantz of Stratham to the state Supreme Court Wednesday.

 
Hantz is an attorney at Sheehan, Phinney, Bass & Green, where she specializes in land use and business law.
 
She is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and holds a law degree from Chicago Kent College of Law in 1992.
 
Hantz previously served on former Governor John Lynch’s Judicial Selection Commission, and on the boards of the Manchester Community Music School and New Hampshire Legal Assistance.
 
Hantz is currently vice chair of the Josiah Bartlett Center for Public Policy, a conservative think tank.
 
 
She must be confirmed by the state Executive Council. If confirmed, she will be the third woman in history to hold a seat on the New Hampshire Supreme Court.
