New Hampshire officials are taking part in two international trade events this week.
The Hannover Messe industrial trade show runs today through Thursday in Germany.
Organizers expect more than 200,000 people and 6,500 exhibitors.
While New Hampshire will have a presence in one of the exhibition halls, Division of Economic Development director Carmen Lorentz says she and other officials will also take part in a series of meetings sometimes compared to matchmaking.
"[We] learn about their members, try and identify companies that may be at a point in their growth cycle where they may be looking to expand and are interested in the United States," Lorentz says. "That gives us an opportunity to talk to them about New Hampshire and how New Hampshire may be a good fit."
Several state officials are also taking part in the Aerospace Innovation Forum today and Tuesday in Montreal.
