With the number of diagnoses and prescriptions on a twenty-year rise, these days, having a kid with ADHD is no longer outside the norm. Still: there's plenty of disagreement over the nature of the diagnosis itself, when medication can help kids, and when other approaches might be better.

- Dr. Burl Daviss - pediatric psychiatrist at the Geisel School of Medicine and who specializes in the pharmacological treatment of ADHD and mood disorders in youth and young adults.
- Barbara White - developmental psychologist and occupational therapy professor at UNH, with research interests in stress, stimulant medication abuse, and disorders of attention in children and adults.
- David Parker - founder and director of Parker Education, a private day school and educational resource in Concord. The school is accredited to provide programs for students with mood disorders, learning disabilities, and other disorders like ADHD.
