FIRST NIGHT ST. JOHNSBURY
Thursday December 31 4:00 PM - Midnight. Fifty six different shows put on by well over 200 artists in 111 performances at 20 venues. All of it taking place in just eight hours. A full price admission on December 31, at the First Night Booth in front of Courthouse Park or at Catamount Arts is only $20 for adults and $13 for students. And preschoolers are always free. CONTRA DANCE, PEACHAM, VT
Friday Januar 1 7:00 - 10:00 PM Peacham Town Gym, 79 Church Street in Peacham Village. Music by the PARSNIPS with calling by Chip Hedler. Musicians are welcome to  join in. Friday & Saturday January 22 & 23 6:00 PM and Sunday January 24 4:00 PM, Monroe Town Hall. “The Return of the Admiral” continues the adventures of Christopher Columbus as he returns to Spain from the New World, he is depressed and poor, been stripped of his title and pension, his mistress is cold and unsympathetic, his attorney cousin is inept. He is sent on another voyage and returns with a special surprise for the royals. An evening of music, mirth, magic, dance and feasting.
